I'm so excited to be featuring this Gruene, TX engagement session on the blog today! Y'all, this was one of the most Texas sessions I've ever shot and I loved everything about it. Cowboy boots, cowboy hats and southern charm are still pretty enchanting to this west-coast raised gal, so I was in heaven. I'd never been to Gruene before this but now it's one of my favorites little Cen-Tex towns. There is no shortage of adorable store fronts and classic small town scenery which tied into Morgan and Trevor's style seamlessly.

We started in Downtown Gruene early in the morning to capture the all of the charming nooks and crannies before it filled up with shoppers and visitors. Next we moved to a cute little pumpkin patch since it was October that's what you do in October right? FYI, little tiny pumpkins are the perfect ring holders. Our last location was a serene spot by the river. Fortunately, Morgan and Trevor are amazing and agreed to wade in the water with me to get my favorite kinds of water shots!

But even with all of the awesome aesthetics of this session, the best part was the sweet love between Morgan and Trevor and their down-to-earth personalities. We even got kicked out of one of our potential shooting locations, not knowing it was private property, and it didn't even phase these two. They were just enjoying the morning together, creating memories, and allowing me to tag long and capture them. You'll see as you scroll, there was no shortage of genuine laughter and smiles, so my job was an absolute breeze.

I cannot express how excited I am for their wedding in March at the beautiful La Estancia Bella in Wimberly, TX. But for now, I'll just keep obsessing over their engagement session and I invite you to do the same ;) keep scrolling to see just a few of my favorites!
