Shelby: Class of 2020 | Kansas City Senior Photographer | Unity Village

Today on the blog I want to highlight the beautiful Ms. Shelby! She’s another amazing 2020 senior I got to work with this year and yes, her eyes are actually that beautiful and bright!

We shot her session at the Unity Village on their nature trail and by their main courtyard. If you’re in the Lee’s Summit Area and want to experience some beautiful and peaceful scenery, I definitely recommend visiting there. Just be warned, if you’re a professional photographer, you do need a photo pass to shoot, but it’s free for the public to enjoy! Shelby’s session was actually the first one I’d shot there and I fell in love with this spot! Along with a peaceful nature trail, they have stunning architecture, an award winning rose garden, fountains, carved wooden doors, and so much more. It was the perfect spot to highlight Shelby and capture some beautiful portraits for her senior year.

We had the most perfect sunlight to play with that day to compliment Shelby’s features, like her green eyes that I mentioned before! No extra photoshopping required, they just popped the entire session along with her smile, her hair, the sun was just made for this girl that day. I had so much fun getting to hang out with her and some of her family at her session INCLUDING her precious puppy love. Y’all know me, I’m always always ALWAYS excited when someone brings their dog.
