I knew this bride and I would be fast friends after she told me two things: 1) She wanted her wedding to be a low stress, simplified, and yet beautiful event and 2) They had dogs that they treat like children. Y’all, people who love dogs are my kinda people. From there we definitely trailed off on in-depth discussions of her dogs, my dogs, and their individual personalities, but eventually came back to the wedding realizing we were a great fit.

I was so excited on the the wedding day to be greeted by their pups, but also to see how stunning their backyard was. But beyond how gorgeous it looked, the best part was how much meaning this property held for the bride and groom. They had already created countless memories together there, and now they would get to officially become husband and wife with their closest family and friends present. We had perfect weather, beautiful late spring greenery, and of course adorable pup moments to capture. I’m so thankful to have met this family and to have played a part in capturing this beautiful chapter in their lives.
